Artist's Statement  ::
The purple iris I drew in Kindergarten piqued my first interest in art and I still use that image as my guiding light. Color and light are the major elements of my work, painting the landscape is my passion, and exploring the depth of my vision has become my purpose. While my paintings are of real places I hope each viewer experiences personal meaning is awakened to the interpretive aspect of artů

I am represented by the Monarch Gallery in Lancaster Ohio. Participation in recent shows includes the Cincinnati Art Club (Cincinnati, Ohio) and the Sharon Weiss Gallery in the Short North (Columbus, Ohio).
