Artist's Statement ::
My style explores the relationship between man-made structures and the natural world; the idea of recognizable shapes and structures living within irrational thoughts and emotions. All my work is dependent on color, form, and composition.
I believe the most complex emotions can be evoked from the simplest of forms. As an artist attempts to interpret something more and more realistically, he or she is actually making their work less and less interesting, and asking much less of the viewer. The same painting can mean very different things to different people. Whatever you interpret my painting to be is what they become.
