Artist's Statement  ::
The sun, the moon and stars have always inspired artists and are symbols of life, love and romanticism. Thus many of the compositions are devoted to the celestial objects. In my works they seem to be statical, surrounded by reach color palette and relief creating sensation of quiver and solemnity.
Among other themes are landscapes with trees, silhouettes of birds as well presented as symbols. The variety of flora and fauna is extremely simplified and depicted through strict schemes of lines. .
The palette in my works consists of numerous color layers overlapping on each other, but not blending. Crimson underlay is often used to create a pulsation of color. This also helps to convey feelings of warmth and comfort, aiming to harmonize the space around the artwork.
